Jumaane D. Williams represents the 45th Council District in Brooklyn. He currently serves as Deputy Leader of the New York City Council.
He is also co-chair of the Councilís Task Force to Combat Gun Violence and the Taskforce on City Workforce Equity.

He is a member of the Oneonta Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, and Farm Bureau. He is employed at New York
